CAPS Advertisement

Advertising Design Project, George Mason University

This project focused on designing an advertisement for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at George Mason University. This advertisement’s Target Audience is the student body of George Mason University, specifically the ones attending classes on the Fairfax Campus who might not know about CAPS. The main goal of this ad is not to directly state every services CAPS offers, but to encourage students to look into CAPS further by accessing their website, calling on the phone, or visiting their office. After researching the wide variety of services Playing around with the idea of feeling out of control, I wanted to create a narrative that could apply to many different aspects of a person’s life, not just one issue in particular. This lead to developing the idea of a mind “growing” out of control with life’s stresses and obstacles, with the simple message: "Don’t let stress grow out of control.”
